Banking & Finance Associate - 2-3 PQE - Hong Kong

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Banking and Finance Lawyer with 2-3 years of post-qualification experience to join our leading practice in Hong Kong. As a Banking and Finance Lawyer, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of legal matters, with a particular focus on general banking and acquisition finance transactions. This role is ideal for candidates who are eager to join an established team and thrive in an autonomous yet collegiate and supportive environment.

You will be involved in advising clients on various general banking transactions, including syndicated loans, asset-based financing, trade finance, and treasury services. You will draft and negotiate loan agreements, security documents, and other related legal documentation, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. You will also play a key role in advising clients on acquisition finance transactions, including leveraged buyouts, mergers and acquisitions, and private equity investments. You will assist in conducting due diligence, structuring financing arrangements, and drafting transactional documents.

Requirements:

• 2-3 PQE
• Admitted in the UK, HK or other Common Law jurisdictions
• Experience from a reputable general banking and finance practice
• Excellent English and Mandarin Skills
