Data Protection Manager - Newcastle or London - Hybrid - 2 days in the office.

Astral Legal have partnered with a global Insurance company who are recruiting a Data Protection Manager.

As a Data Protection Manager you will be required to handle the following:

-Directly support the UK DPO in the delivery, execution and maintenance of the Group's GDPR strategy, policies, training and processes across all UK entities.
-Assist with all Data Protection breaches, and in the absence of the UK DPO, be the point of contact for data protection issues.
-Support the business in regards to Data Protection regulation and changes in the law.
-Implement new Data Protection legislation throughout the business
-Create and refine processes within data protection whilst providing guidance and training to the business as necessary.
-Responsible for managing data subject rights requests and ensuring they're dealt with within regulatory timescales whilst effectively utilising business support, where necessary, to fulfil any requests.
-Act as SME for all business areas when implementing new, and amending existing, business initiatives through DPIAs, LIAs, ROPAs, DPAs, DSAs etc.)
