The ideal Legal Counsel will have a strong background handling commercial contracts. You will be joining a team of 8 lawyers working at a global level. This is a newly developed role and
The duties of a Legal Counsel will be:
- You will support the legal team in advising on marketing/ advertising matters. Experience in this area is desired but strong commercial lawyers will also be considered.
- You must be capable of reviewing, negotiating and drafting a variety of commercial agreements.
- Deliver training sessions to the business regarding legal changes.
- You will report directly into the Senior Legal Counsel and support a trainee solicitor.
The ideal Legal Counsel will possess.
- Excellent knowledge of commercial and contract law.
- Experience drafting and negotiating a range of agreements for a UK and international business.
- Experience working in-house, ideally for a global brand and advising on multi-jurisdictional issues.
- 4-5 years PQE experience but candidates at a lower or higher PQE level will be considered if they meet the experience criteria.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work with senior stakeholders.
