Job Specification: Data Protection Associate / Senior Associate
Our client, an international law firm with a tier one privacy practice group, is seeking a German qualified attorney with 2-4 years of experience to join their team as a Data Protection Associate in Frankfurt.
Responsibilities:
Advising clients on all aspects of data protection, privacy and cyber security law
Assisting with drafting and negotiating data protection agreements, data transfer agreements, data processing agreements and data protection impact assessments
Conducting compliance assessments and gap analyses of client data protection policies and procedures
Assisting clients with data breaches and incident response management
Keeping up-to-date with the latest developments in data protection and privacy law
Requirements:
German qualified attorney with 2-4 years of experience in data protection law
Experience working with clients in the technology and life sciences sectors
Strong knowledge of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Fluency in English and German
