I am currently partnering with a leading international law firm in London with a strong reputation in Telecoms, Technology and Life Sciences. With a client base ranging from start-ups all the way through to global companies, the team provides specialist advice on Intellectual Property, commercial and regulatory matters, with a particular focus on life sciences and technology-rich sectors.

The firm is seeking an ambitious patent litigation associate to join its leading patent team. In this role, you will specialise in providing intellectual property and regulatory advice to clients. This leading London patents team are really uniquely suited for the Unified Patent Court given their international presence. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • High Court Patent Litigation: Handle complex and high-stakes patent litigation cases in the High Court, working closely with a team of experienced associates and partners to deliver strategic and effective solutions.
  • Multi-Jurisdictional Disputes: Manage multi-jurisdictional patent disputes, collaborating with international colleagues to navigate complex legal challenges.
  • Regulatory Non-Contentious Work: If desired, you can get involved in regulatory non-contentious work, broadening your skill set and providing a well-rounded experience.
  • Industry Focus: Primarily focus on the Telecoms/Electronics industry. Additionally, you will have the chance to work on cases across various sectors, including Life Sciences, Engineering, and Mechanics.

The firm are flexible on PQE level, the most important element is patent litigation experience and interest. You will need either experience or a desire to focus on the Telecoms sector.
