The ideal candidate will be between 5-10 years PQE with experience working within the Travel sector and you will have the management of two junior lawyers.

The ideal candidate will be between 5-10 years PQE with experience working within the Travel sector and you will have the management of two junior lawyers.
Your duties will include:
- Working with the business handling drafting, negotiating, and reviewing commercial Travel Agreements; advising on joint ventures, trade promotions, supplier contracts, consumer contracts, and negotiating a variety of travel industry legal Agreements.
- The Legal team is approximately 4 people in the UK, you will report directly into the General Counsel.
- Advising on regulatory and corporate governance matters applicable to UK, EU, and international business activities.
- Proactively managing legal risk across the business functions and developing best practice and compliance guidelines for all aspects of our business.
- Monitoring relevant IT and Travel Industry developments and undertaking ad-hoc legal research projects for management, working with the leaders in the business and updating them on all legal developments.
- Providing mentoring to two Assistant Counsel colleagues.
- This is a generalist Commercial In-House role.
The ideal Senior Legal Counsel will possess the following:
- 5-10 years PQE experience
- Experience working across the travel industry.
- Strong commercial experience.
- Experience working with the business.
